Belonging 

It is clear that science benefits from diversity, as it drives excellence, innovation, and creativity. However, underrepresentation remains in various STEM fields, including entomology and the plant sciences. Within our lab, we aim to cultivate a community that has diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. As a lab, we work to understand the challenges faced by members of underrepresented groups and to dissolve barriers that impede the ability to support diverse members of our scientific community.
